Agreed. Hamas does not distinguish between deaths of terrorists and civilians, or between those who died from war or unrelated causes. There seems to be a consensus that between 15-20,000 terrorists were killed, meaning the civilian death toll would be in the mid to upper twenties. This is of course tragic, but more consistent with human shield deaths and deaths of people prevented from fleeing after warnings, than an intentional genocide. The same misinformation was given out about food and medicine shortages, claiming that genocide was being committed.
