CONVICTED OF SUPPORTING ISLAMIC JIHAD TERRORISTS, HE IS NOW A 50 YEAR OLD NON-STUDENT LEADING CAMPUS PROTESTS

I wish I could say I am shocked, but these days, nothing that occurs on an American college campus can shock us.

Meet Mr. Hatem Fariz, the long-in-the-tooth, non-student who is a leader of the illegal campus protests on USF in Tampa. The school has been singled out as one of the most antisemitic institutions in America, where Jewish students are in perpetual danger of violent assaults. He’s a convicted terrorist supporter. Why aren’t you shocked? Who do you think gets involved in those kind of violent, illegal, and racist actions?

Who’s behind the campus protests at University of South Florida, in Tampa? One of the main organizers is 50 years old Hatem Fariz, previously convicted of providing support to the Islamic Jihad terrorist group. Do you think he wants a ceasefire and peace? (Image courtesy of Tampa Bay Times.)

From a report in today’s Tampa Bay Times:

“More than 20 years ago — on Feb. 20, 2003 — federal agents raided Fariz’s Spring Hill home, arresting the then-30-year-old on charges that he provided financial support to Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a federally designated terrorist organization.

On phone calls recorded by federal agents, Fariz joked about a terrorist attack in Israel, explained how to obscure payments made to a terrorism-adjacent charity organization and bragged about beating a young man whom he suspected of collaborating with the Israelis, according to court records.
