GOOD RIDDANCE TO ISMAIL HANIYEH!
The only good Hamas is a dead Hamas.
Ismail Haniyeh is dead, and the world is a far better place for it. He was the so-called “political” leader of Hamas, which means simply that he lived in luxury in Qatar, while his genocidal and nihilistic mob of psychopaths used Gazans as human shields. Every single Gazan death is on him and his cohorts.
There are some misguided observers who believe Haniyeh was some sort of diplomat, negotiating a potential ceasefire with Israel. That’s all nonsense. Hamas and Haniyeh have no more reason to want to end the war than Netanyahu; once the conflict ends, both leaderships are expendable and accountable for their actions. (Netanyahu will go on trial in Israel, Hamas leaders will either find refuge in other rogue nations, or be hunted down and killed.)
Calling Haniyeh or any other terrorist “political” or a “diplomat” changes nothing; he’s a racist terrorist with blood on his hands. All Hamas are fair targets for Israel. The only good Hamas is a dead Hamas.
No one has taken credit for doing humankind a great favor of killing this monstrous terrorist but I have a shrewd suspicion it was Israel. Someone had to do it, and we ought to be thankful they did.
