I cited recent polls. If there are any major polls showing that the majority of Americans feel as you say, I have been unable to locate them. Two prominent Congressional Reps who say the same things as you just got tossed out of office, and it seems almost all candidates of both parties are falling over themselves trying to prove who is more pro-Israel. That doesn't sound like the majority want what you claim. As for "especially those of us who understand what is going on " as you describe yourself, my long life on this earth informs me that when speak that way, it's inevitably just the opposite, and they usually don't have the slightest idea of what they are trying to discuss. Those who are secure in their knowledge never talk like that, we don't have to. The only thing all this hatred of Israel has achieved is to push the dream of a Palestinian State a generation down the road, which is a shame, especially for the people who have to live under Hamas and other nihilistic terrorists. As I said, people can write all they want, tie up bridges, riot on campuses, and it only makes the plight of the Palestinians worse, because to the average American-and European-, it drives home what they fear. The left just does not get this, and continues to lobby against their own cause by their actions and words.
