Jews and Christians should respect and love each other, as should all people, but they are two completely and utterly different religions. Christianity broke from Judaism close to 2,000 years and embarked on a totally different path. Just a few of the differences that make them two separate and utterly distinct religions: 1.) Jews believe the Messiah will come only under very specific conditions, which have not occurred. Christians believe he came and went; 2.) Christians believe in heaven, hell, sin, Satan, purgatory...Jews do not believe any of that stuff; 3.) Jews believe Moses was the last word from the Supreme Being. but Christians believe there have been a myriad of saints; 4.) Christians are deeply concerned with the afterlife, which to Jews is barely an afterthought; 5.) Christianity is a conversionary religion which holds it is the only truth and others should accept it, but Judaism is anything but and does not hold it against any person not Jewish, as it's not necessary to be Jewish to be a good person.
