Macron is an easy political hack to figure out.

He needed the far left votes to beat a far right party with a long neo-Fascist history.

The far left hates Israel and Jews, whereas the far right hates Islamic terrorists (and sadly, all Muslims as well), and for the most part, supports Israel. Their current leader has been trying to quash the deep remnants of Jew hate in her party.

Macron has to survive as President in a political environment where he and his party have little popular support. so he tries to buy some by aping the Jew haters on the far left.

We are talking about France, a society that told the Nazis there was no need for them to waste time and effort rounding up Jews, as the French police would gladly do it for them.They set up a part of their country as a Nazi puppet state.

In the 1970-s, when radical Islamic terrorists attacked a synagogue and killed a non-Jewish security guard, the then PM of France declared that "The terrorists wanted to kill Jews, but instead, killed an innocent Frenchman." The Shoah was a mere thirty years away when he said this.

On the day that Iran launched over 200 ballistic missiles at Israeli cities, Mac ron demanded French arms makres stop selling components to Israel. (Israel long ago ceased purchasing French weaponry, partly because their quality leaves much to be desired, and partly because in 1967, De Gaulle refused to release ships Israel had paid for, so the Israeli Navy snuck into French and yppk the boats!

France has a unique way of disgracing itself.
