Now it's time for your readers to get some actual facts.

These European nations are posturing for domestic political purposes, knowing full well that nothing they say or do has any impact on Israel's ability to procure weapons and defend itself.

Earlier this year, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, which studies conflicts and arms trade, found that 69% of Israeli arms purchases come from the US, 30% from Germany, and .9% from Italy. The others don't register at all. All Israeli aircraft are American made, except for one French helicopter. I am fine with Blinken's letter, no problem getting more aid to Gaza, but it was followed up by new air defense systems and 100 US troops to run it.

A better way of describing your viewpoint would be to say that several states with no skin in the game, no international influence, and in fact, former colonial powers, are limited to rather meaningless symbolic actions. Meanwhile, the US, the world's only superpower, and Germany, Europe's' only real significant economy, stand with Israel.

As for a Palestinian state, it's something I fervently advocated for up to October 6, 2023. Now I call it "aspirational,"something we can revisit ina generation or two, long after Israel has wiped out the Iran terror network and sees Gaza develop a society they can live next to.

Israel is going nowhere, neither is the notion of a Palestinian State, at least not for a long while. The reason: the Oct 7 pogrom and the reaction of the world's useful idiot for Iran.

How anyone can claim victory is beyond me, which is why I'm happy to enlighten your readers about the real world we live in.
