PRO-HAMAS DEMONSTRATORS TAKE OUT THEIR ANGER ON AMERICAN COMMUTERS
Shouting down speakers they don’t like hasn’t worked, so now they’re trying disrupting civil society and inflicting pain on Americans trying to get to work, school, or doctors.
I’m sure this blend of misguided faddists and Hamas-supporters convinced a lot of American commuters to switch over to their side. If there’s a connection between ending a war on the other side of the world, and tying up traffic for Americans, I’m not seeing it. What I am seeing is desperate flailing out because they don’t have an effective way of getting their message across, assuming they have a rational message. This is what political nihilism looks like. Debate and discussion are replaced by shouting down speakers you don’t like and creating headaches for people who have nothing to do with the objects of the protest. They are stealing a tactic from the Trumpies: when you have nothing sensible to say, just go full-out crazy.
