RIGHT NOW, GERMANY IS SAFER THAN AMERICA FOR JEWS

Ironic as it may sound, American Jews, especially students and those who wear yarmulkes, are undeniably better protected in Germany than back home. Germany learned lessons America. still has not.

We’ve all seen images and read reports of Jewish students being singled out on American campuses, blocked from entering, called gutter-level antisemitic names, and told to go back to where the racists mistakenly believe Jews originated.

It’s not surprising if your thoughts immediately turn to American campuses in 2024, as all of the above is applicable to the pro-Hamas, Jew hating campus rioters of today, and the professors and outside agitators who egg them on.

However, I was actually referring to what took place on German college campuses in the nineteen thirties, until Jews were eventually legally barred from attending institutions of higher learning.

What is taking place on American campuses is no different than what took place on German campuses after Hitler took power. It’s not just me saying this. I’m writing from Germany, where I am visiting and attending the 30th business anniversary of an old German friend. I’ve been here a few times before, can speak conversational German, and as you might suspect, have an uncanny ability to draw folks into talking. It didn’t take many such…
