Ritchie Torres Gets It Right Again
NY Congressional Representative Ritchie Torres represents the future of the Democratic Party and a way forward to future successes.
Rep. Torres is the wise one who said the day after Trump won that “Donald Trump has no better friend than the far left of the Democratic Party. “ He went on to point out how every cry of “Defund the police” or “From the River to the Sea” drove away Latino, Black, Jewish and Asian votes in droves. He’s now calling our Iran’s useful idiots, who despite all evidence to the contrary, spread lies about our country and our ally Israel.
Rep. Torres, who represents the Bronx, NYC, is gay, Latino and a Zionist. He is generally a progressive Democrat on economic and social issues, with a sane view of the world and international matters. He is the Democratic Party’s strongest voice to rid itself of extremists, bigots, crazies, and obsessive anti-Americans in America.
Jewish Americans don’t have many better friends in Congress, not does any other American, because Ritchie Torres’ vision of America is one where we are all equal and welcome and where bigoted, extremist craziness is called out for what it is.
If we Democrats heed the warnings and follow the advice of Rep. Torres, we will roar back in full force. If we ignore him, we are doomed.
