Sorry if this bursts anyone's bubble, but the election of Donald Trump means a green light for Netanyahu to do as he pleases. In case people forgot, Trump supported annexations, moving capital to Jerusalem, and recently stated he had essentially given up on a two state solution. I voted for Harris, but I understand why people were influenced to vote for Trump. One reason was all the useful idiots for Iran causing violence on campuses, tying up streets and bridges with demonstrations, and screaming out antisemitic screeds. The American people just elected a party that stands in lockstep with Israel, and the majority of Republicans do not want a Palestinian state. Democrats are not happy about the state of affairs either, and many blame the Arab voters or the anti-Israel crowd for the election of Donald Trump. We recall Rashida Tlaib telling Dems not to vote for Biden last year, and saying she believed Hamas over the US government. In truth, the anti-Israel vote played minor roles. The vote on Tuesday augured very well for Israel and specifically Netanyahu, not very well for Palestinians or those who want a state in the near future. Michigan did not go for Trump because a handful of voters hate the Dem stance on Israel; Michigan went Republican because voters support Israel and reacted against the radical hate speech they were hearing.
