The 1984 Vanderbilt Law School grad forgot that part of the Constitution that creates a federalist system.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) forgot what he learned in his Constitutional Law class at Vanderbilt University Law School, a fine institution, the overwhelming majority of its graduates better-grounded in Constitutional law than their hapless fellow alumnus.

Abbott does not like the way the federal government is handling illegal border crossings; he’s equally opposed to admitting immigrants who lawfully apply for asylum by presenting themselves to immigration officials with the request. Abbot has stated he’d like the authority to mow down anyone trying to cross the border without permission, be they men, women, or children. (So much for this clown being “pro-life” or a “Christian.” (Well, then again, maybe he is.)

If the Governor took the time to read the Constitution, he’d see that he has zero authority to do any of the things he’s doing on the border. He’s nothing more than a serial lawbreaker, committing human rights violations every single day.
