Thanks for an insider's setting the record straight.

We are a Jewish family with relatives through marriage in Ireland, and in visits there, have never encountered any anti-Israel or antisemitic views from anyone except the government and a handful of leftists columnists. Last time was there, about a year ago, the hottest seat in town was at the Chabad kosher restaurant. One of my friends had just returned from the US because they wanted their daughter to see a bar mitzvah of an American friend's son. I heard no criticism of Jews or Israel anywhere I went, but a lot of people did not like their government.
