It’s a lot fun, promotes my writing, and creates a permanent record of who I am. Check out some of the interviews I’ve given.

When I’m not writing, I’m generally talking. (No comments from the peanut gallery.) When I’m not writing or talking, I’m often playing guitar, traveling, practicing yoga, walking my dog, or taking care of my plants and fruit trees.

This post is a little different than what I usually write about, and it really does not contain a whole lot of new information, except where to listen to me on various podcasts, and about my guitars.

I have been interviewed on several podcasts, and it’s always fun. (Not to mention, a great and free way to publicize my fiction books, and now, my Substack newsletter.) It takes some research to find podcasts I think might be the right match, and the popular ones book months in advance. The truth is that for an author, like with a lawyer, any publicity is good, so long as they spell your name right.

Not to mention that every recorded podcast is a permanent memory of yours truly. I can be heard and seen for all eternity!

I long ago stopped throwing away money on book promotion websites that don’t work. I spend virtually no money on promoting my fiction, and while I’m light years from being a household name, I’m doing significantly better than most independent authors. (Many podcasts will check out an author’s…
