Left wing Hamas supporters similarly distort history and truth in the name of hate.
Tucker Carlson and Fox News have now given way to full-blown historical revisionism and Holocaust denial.
It’s almost unfathomable that many Americans would believe Hitler was the good guy, and Churchill and FDR the bad guys. It’s virtually inconceivable that any sane person would believe the Holocaust was not genocide, but caused by lack of supplies for sick Jews the Nazis were caring for.
The problem is that Carlson and crew have succeeded in persuading millions of Republicans that Trump really won the 2020 election, that COVID was a hoax, the FBI is a deep state operation, and Donald Trump is the Christians’ new savior.
It’s not only right wingers who believe absolute rubbish.The far left believes Hamas is in the right, October 7 was justified, and that the society Hamas created in Gaza was preferable to democracies in Israel and America. They then leap to believing violence and bigotry are acceptable political tools. They’re as bad as Carlson’s followers.
Our country is filled with gullible idiots on both sides. Too many people no longer demand facts or analysis, and a mere accusation does the trick for them.
In other words, there are idiots who will believe anything, and as we see, that’s very dangerous.
