Which is why I believe he skates on the Israeli criminal charges. They certainly weren't motivated by antisemitism or political bias. The police and prosecutors have examined the evidence and think he's a crook. We don't know what the judges will think. What I am saying is that his deft handling of war on several fronts is going to result in hims somehow getting out from under those charges. Past Presidents, Prime Ministers, Cabinet officers and Knesset members have been held accountable for similar criminal behavior, and in a democratic republic, no citizen should be above the law. Laws cannot be applied only against people we don't like, and there can't be exceptions just because we like someone. The fact that he has also done good things is not a get-out-of-jail card.
